Bao, a 3-year-old Chihuahua dog who travels the world with his owner. Bao's owner, Xa Thi Ngoc Tran, broadcasts her pet's life on his Instagram page and packs him his own suitcase with an expensive wardrobe that can be appreciated by more than 166,000 of his followers.
What is Bao's life like, how much does his wardrobe cost, and is it easy to travel with a pet? The New York Post told us about it.
The 37-year-old Toronto-based financier got this dog during the COVID pandemic, but the couple began traveling together in 2022. Since then, they have been able to visit the French capital, come to Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada, and traveled to Mexico.
According to Tran, she can't imagine traveling without "her boy" and spares no expense on his clothes, food, and comfort. In particular, the woman says Bao's wardrobe consists of 75 items worth $2,500, including a Chanel silk scarf, shiny jackets, and turtleneck sweaters.
"Ever since he was a puppy, I've liked to dress him in my neutral aesthetic with trench coats and jeans, but Bao loves a Hawaiian shirt when he's on vacation," Tran said.
Tran notes that when traveling, she has to spend extra money on Bao's care, but she says "it's worth it." Currently, she and Bao are planning to visit Beverly Hills to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the movie "Beverly Hills Chihuahua".
"We'd also like to go back to Europe to visit Italy, and we'll go back to Mexico because we loved it there," she said.
