A British woman found a hedgehog and took it to the vet, but it turned out to be a pompom from a hat
In the UK, a woman found what she thought was a hedgehog in the woods and took it to a veterinary clinic, only to discover that it was actually a pompom from a hat.
Employees at the Lowery Moss Wood Nature Reserve and Wildlife Hospital near Knutsford were surprised to find that she had brought them a fluffy part of a hat, as reported by the Manchester Evening News.
Volunteer Danielle Peberdy, 36, emphasized that hedgehogs shouldn't be out during the day, so it was a good instinct to take action upon seeing what was thought to be a hedgehog in the sun. However, "the only problem was that it was a pom-pom."
"Place them in a box with some bedding and seek assistance from local veterinarians. Let's help our prickly friends!" she added.
As TravelWise reported, a woman in Kyiv found a snake from Central Mexico under the hood of her car.
