A cafe has opened in Tokyo where you can drink coffee with a capybara
A cozy cafe has opened in one of Tokyo's districts. Here, you can watch the life of a capybara over a cup of coffee.
However, if the capybara needs to go to the toilet or is going to sleep, the meeting with the capybara ends. You can find out where this cafe is located and how to communicate with the animals on the Capyba Cafe website.
The facility is located in the Higashi Mukojima neighborhood in Sumida City. The founders call it a place for healing and suggest booking in advance. The cafe can accommodate no more than 10 people at a time.
You can reserve a seat on the café's website. In the coffee shop, you can watch the capybaras walk, feed them treats, and order a drink for yourself.
However, communication with capybaras is limited to children under 6 years old. And if your child is under 12, he or she can visit the cafe only in the company of an adult.
The organizers remind that to communicate with the animals, you need to order one drink per person.
Prices in the cafe are as follows:
communication with a capybara for the first 30 minutes - about $8
coffee or tea - about $6.
They also sell capybara treats, which cost from $2.
