A stunning island off the coast of Ireland, reminiscent of the fictional Craggy Island from the 1990s Channel 4 sitcom, which shares a name with the main character, is up for sale and can be yours for less than a million euros.
The island of Middle Telf, which spans 64 hectares of uninhabited land off the southern coast of Ireland, boasts a beautiful private beach, abundant wildlife, and views of the wild Atlantic Ocean. This was reported by Vladi Private Islands, the company tasked with selling it, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Farhad Vladi, the firm's CEO, said it is expected to sell for less than €1 million (£866,000) - significantly less than the average price of a Westminster apartment, which is currently £1.22 million, according to Foxtons, and approximately the average price of a London house.
The real estate listing for the island, which is part of Ireland's Cork region, says the land was last inhabited before World War II and has several ruins. It is also home to about 25 Kerry moor ponies that graze there year-round and are included in the sale.
