Air Arabia adds flights to Greece this summer
Air Arabia, the first and largest low-cost airline in the Middle East and North Africa, will expand its European network by adding direct flights to Greece this summer. On June 28, the company will launch a direct flight between Athens and Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The new flight will operate with a frequency of 4 flights per week, providing travelers with a direct and efficient connection between the two vibrant cities. With this new addition to its expanding network, Air Arabia aims to help increase accessibility for both business and leisure travelers, promoting economic and cultural ties between the UAE and Greece, ekathimerini.com reports.
Air Arabia Group CEO Adel Abdullah Ali said Sharjah is a city known for its rich history, culture and business opportunities.
"The launch of Air Arabia's flights to Athens reflects our ongoing commitment to providing our customers with seamless connections between the two cities, while offering economical and accessible travel options," he added.
From now on, passengers can book direct flights from Sharjah to Athens by visiting Air Arabia's website, calling the call center or through travel agencies.
Air Arabia operates a fleet of Airbus A320 and A321 neo-LR aircraft, the most modern and best-selling single-aisle aircraft in the world. The cabin configuration across the fleet provides additional comfort with one of the widest seat pitches of any economy class cabin.
