Air Canada Enhances Economy Travel with Complimentary Snacks and Beverages
Air Canada is elevating the Economy travel experience by offering complimentary premium snacks and an expanded selection of free beer and wine on all flights within Canada and the U.S. This new initiative aims to improve passenger comfort and enjoyment just in time for summer travel, continuing through the end of the year.
The new offering includes a range of Canadian snacks and beverages, showcasing local flavors and brands. Economy passengers can now enjoy free sweet and savory snacks, such as buttery herb and garlic pretzels from Alberta’s TWIGZ and Quebec’s Leclerc Célébration Cookies, on all flights, regardless of destination.
To enhance the in-flight experience further, Air Canada is also extending its complimentary beer and wine service to Economy class on flights within Canada and the U.S. Previously available only on international flights, this service now includes craft beers like Hop Valley and Creemore Springs Premium Lager, as well as French wines from Paul Mas. Additionally, a selection of spirits, including Baileys, Canadian Club rye, and Bombay Sapphire gin, will be available for $5.
These enhancements are part of Air Canada’s broader efforts to improve in-flight dining and overall passenger satisfaction. The airline has recently introduced over 100 new seasonal recipes and a refreshed Bistro menu, making it the only North American airline to offer hot, fresh kids’ meals for purchase on domestic flights.
Scott O’Leary, Vice President of Loyalty & Product at Air Canada, stated, "We’re thrilled to continue elevating the Economy travel experience in North America, and we’re proud to spotlight Canadian brands with this thoughtfully curated lineup of complimentary snacks and beverages, in time for your summer travels."
Passengers flying with Air Canada this summer can expect a more enjoyable and flavorful journey, with these latest additions highlighting the airline’s commitment to comfort and quality service.
