Air Canada Launches Seamless Motorcoach Service Between Southern Ontario Airports and Toronto
Air Canada, in partnership with The Landline Company, has introduced a new motorcoach service linking Hamilton and the Region of Waterloo airports to Toronto Pearson. This service, which began today, offers seamless one-stop connections to Air Canada’s extensive global network, significantly enhancing the travel experience for residents of Hamilton-Wentworth and Waterloo Region.
The newly launched service includes luxury motorcoaches that are Canadian-built and fully accessible, featuring spacious leather seats, power outlets, and complimentary WiFi. These amenities ensure a comfortable journey to Toronto Pearson, where travelers can easily connect to flights reaching worldwide destinations.
This strategic move by Air Canada aims to simplify travel logistics for Southern Ontario residents by allowing them to create a single itinerary that includes both the motorcoach service and their Air Canada flights. The integration of these services is part of a trial initiative at John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport and the Region of Waterloo International Airport, with potential future expansion across Canada.
Ranbir Singh, Director of Regional Airlines and Markets at Air Canada, expressed enthusiasm about the launch, highlighting the convenience and reduced stress for travelers. "This innovative partnership with The Landline Company offers a stress-free, multimodal travel option that ensures easy connections and enhances the overall travel experience," Singh stated.
The service operates six non-stop round trips daily from each airport to Toronto Pearson. It is designed to provide a smooth transition for travelers, from the ease of checking in at their local airport to arriving in Toronto, ready for their next flight. In addition, the service includes itinerary protection and the opportunity for passengers to earn Aeroplan points, further integrating it into the broader Air Canada customer service experience.
