Air France Unveils Renovated Lounge at Cayenne Airport
On June 28, 2024, Air France reopened its newly renovated lounge at Cayenne-Félix Eboué International Airport. The updated facility aims to offer passengers a more comfortable and elegant space to relax, work, or eat before their flights.
The lounge is available to Air France's Business and Flying Blue Ultimate, Platinum, and Gold customers, as well as eligible travelers from KLM and SkyTeam partner airlines. It serves those flying to Paris-Charles de Gaulle and destinations on the airline’s Regional Caribbean Network.
Covering over 100 square meters, the lounge features 41 seats, with the majority being reupholstered locally. The renovation focuses on sustainability, incorporating a significant percentage of locally sourced materials.
In addition to comfortable seating, the lounge includes a dining area with a rotating menu that offers hot and cold dishes, including vegetarian options. Air France has implemented measures to limit food waste and reduce single-use plastics by providing water fountains and recycling services.
The lounge also features three distinct seating areas for added privacy, workspaces with natural lighting, and a dedicated section for Flying Blue Ultimate customers. Passengers can enjoy free Wi-Fi, multiple charging stations, and access to digital publications through the Air France Play app.
This summer, Air France is operating daily long-haul flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Cayenne. Additionally, the airline's Regional Caribbean Network offers up to twelve weekly flights between Cayenne, Fort-de-France, and Pointe-à-Pitre, and flights to Miami and Belém.
With this renovation, Air France seeks to enhance the overall travel experience for its premium passengers, providing a modern and sustainable environment at Cayenne Airport.
