Air New Zealand Expands Direct Flights to Bali Year-Round
Kiwi travelers now have the opportunity to fly directly to Bali year-round, as Air New Zealand has expanded its non-stop services to the popular Indonesian destination. This marks the first time the airline will offer flights to Bali during the summer months, with three flights per week scheduled between November and February.
This expansion comes in response to the growing demand from New Zealanders seeking to explore Bali's diverse offerings. The new schedule aims to provide more travel flexibility and convenience, allowing holidaymakers to enjoy a tropical getaway without the hassle of stopovers.
The decision to extend the service year-round reflects the increasing popularity of Bali among Kiwi tourists. With its rich culture, delicious cuisine, beautiful beaches, and adventurous activities, Bali attracts a wide range of travelers. The enhanced flight schedule is expected to accommodate the surge in interest and make travel planning easier.
Air New Zealand's Chief Customer and Sales Officer, Leanne Geraghty, emphasized the strategic move to cater to the rising demand for Bali vacations. She noted that the airline is the only one offering direct flights from New Zealand to Bali, providing a seamless travel experience for those looking to escape to warmer climates during the summer months.
With more than 800 seats available each week between November and February, the expanded service offers ample opportunities for Kiwis to visit Bali. This increased availability is likely to boost tourism and provide a significant economic benefit to both New Zealand and Bali.
