Passengers flying with Jet2, Ryanair, TUI, and easyJet this summer may face unexpected challenges if they do not adhere to specific clothing guidelines. An industry expert has highlighted the importance of dressing appropriately for flights to avoid being denied boarding.

Mary Jo Manzanares, an aviation professional with over 30 years of experience, has emphasized the significance of maintaining proper attire. She explained, "Resolving potential conflicts on the ground is crucial to prevent aggression at 30,000 feet. Inappropriate comments or behavior, combined with alcohol, could lead to unscheduled landings, which no one wants."

An anonymous cabin crew member supported Manzanares' insights, stating that airlines have the authority to enforce dress codes. "We have the right to prevent passengers from boarding if they are not dressed acceptably," the crew member shared.

For those flying with Jet2, Ryanair, TUI, or easyJet, it is essential to consider your attire carefully. A flight attendant warned that t-shirts with offensive logos or swear words are common reasons passengers are asked to change before boarding.

While most airlines do not have a strict dress code, it is advisable to avoid dirty, torn, or overly casual clothing. Items with offensive slogans or vulgar language should also be avoided.
