American Airlines adds nonstop service to another resort in the Bahamas
American Airlines has expanded its network with a new route to the Bahamas. The nonstop flight will connect Miami with the picturesque Governor's Harbor on Eleuthera Island, giving travelers easy access to the picturesque destination.
Eleuthera, the pearl of the Bahamas, is enchanted with its clear water and sandy beaches. Governor's Harbour is the heart of the island, where the administrative buildings are located. The island is served by three airports, writes Simple Flying.
American Airlines already flies to North Eleuthera twice a day from Miami, and the new connection to Governors Harbour will increase the airline's presence in the Caribbean and Atlantic.
José María Giraldo, American Airlines chief executive officer for Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America, spoke enthusiastically about the new opening.
"We're thrilled to celebrate the launch of our sixth destination in the Bahamas, Governors Harbour, further solidifying our commitment to this unspoiled paradise. This new route is our next step in expanding American's presence in the Caribbean and Atlantic," she said.
American's new service to Governors Harbour will provide an additional boost to the Bahamas' tourism industry and will allow even more tourists to vacation in this fabulous destination.
