Avelo Airlines Announces Nonstop Flights from New Haven to Washington, D.C.
Avelo Airlines is set to launch nonstop service between Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN) and Washington, D.C.’s Dulles International Airport (IAD) this summer. The new route, beginning on July 12, 2024, will offer twice-weekly flights on Mondays and Fridays. This addition marks Avelo's 26th nonstop route from HVN, the highest number for any airline in Connecticut.
The announcement was made during the Airports Council International’s JumpStart® Air Service Development Conference, highlighting Avelo's commitment to expanding its network. Introductory fares for the new route start at $46 one-way, available for booking on Avelo's website.
