Avelo Airlines Launches Exclusive Nonstop Flights to Atlanta and Charlotte from Southern Connecticut
Avelo Airlines has announced the introduction of exclusive nonstop services from Tweed-New Haven Airport to Atlanta and Charlotte, marking a significant expansion in its flight operations. This launch coincides with Avelo celebrating the remarkable milestone of serving two million customers in Southern Connecticut since beginning operations at HVN on November 3, 2021.
The new routes offer direct flights to Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and Charlotte’s Concord-Padgett Regional Airport, establishing Avelo as the first and only airline to provide these nonstop connections. This strategic expansion is aimed at enhancing travel options for Southern Connecticut residents, offering them convenient and affordable air travel.
To celebrate this expansion and its passenger milestone, Avelo has introduced enticingly low introductory fares starting at $85. The Atlanta route will operate four times a week, and the Charlotte route will commence with two weekly flights, expanding to four times weekly by June 14. These new services emphasize Avelo's commitment to broadening its reach and accessibility, providing passengers with more choices for direct travel.
Andrew Levy, Avelo Airlines Founder, Chairman, and CEO, expressed enthusiasm about offering more travel alternatives through these new routes, stating that they will enhance the convenience and affordability of flying from Tweed, thereby benefiting both leisure and business travelers. Avelo’s emphasis on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency continues to resonate with travelers, fostering a stronger connection with the community and encouraging further growth in regional air travel.
