Avelo Airlines Launches New Nonstop Routes from Greenville-Spartanburg
Avelo Airlines announced the commencement of two exclusive nonstop services from Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport to Manchester-Boston Regional Airport and Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport, starting from May 9, 2024. This marks the first time any airline has connected these regions directly, enhancing the travel options for passengers in Upstate South Carolina.
The new routes to Manchester and Rochester will operate twice weekly on dedicated days, with introductory fares starting at just $77. The service aims to cater to both leisure and business travelers, offering a convenient and cost-effective way to explore these vibrant destinations or enjoy the southern hospitality of Greenville and Spartanburg.
Manchester, known as the premier city in New England, offers proximity to natural attractions and urban conveniences, being close to Boston, the Atlantic Coast, and scenic locales like the White Mountains and Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Rochester, set in the picturesque NY Finger Lakes region, is celebrated for its cultural scene and year-round festivals, making it an enticing destination for tourists.
In addition to the new routes, Avelo is increasing its weekly flights to Southern Connecticut’s Tweed-New Haven Airport, reflecting the growing demand for more accessible and efficient travel solutions. Avelo Airlines' expansion in Greenville-Spartanburg underscores their commitment to connecting underserved communities and making air travel smoother and more enjoyable with their customer-centric services.
This strategic move by Avelo is expected to boost local tourism and create new business opportunities, enriching the connection between these dynamic regions and offering passengers a more diverse range of travel possibilities.
