Bachelorette party on an airplane: Flight attendant detains passengers who smuggled alcohol on board
Recently, a video filmed on board a United Airlines Boeing 757, in which a flight attendant stops passengers from drinking alcohol that they had brought onto the plane, went viral. This video was posted in 2021 on the Instagram page of one of the offenders but it resonated after it was posted by the user @grindfacetv on X (formerly Twitter).
In the video, the women brazenly violated FAA rules that prohibit passengers from drinking their own alcohol on board an airplane unless it is provided by the air carrier. However, the fun was stopped by a flight attendant who confiscated the alcohol from the passengers, the New York Post reported.
It is noted that for violating the flight rules, the flight attendant forced the women to join the Dry Mile Club. In addition, the intoxicated passengers had to be disembarked from the plane.
It is not known whether the actions of the offenders had additional consequences or restrictions on the right to use the company's services in the future. However, their actions were harshly condemned by the community on social network X, with the video garnering over 1.6 million views and over 800 comments.
