Barclays and Breeze Airways Elevate Air Travel with New Visa Signature Card
Breeze Airways, in partnership with Barclays US Consumer Bank, has recently announced the launch of the Breeze Easy™ Visa Signature® credit card, a notable development in the airline's offerings since its inception less than three years ago. This card marks Breeze Airways' first venture into co-branded credit cards, offering a lucrative rewards system including up to 10X BreezePoints on purchases related to the airline.
The card is designed to enhance the flying experience, offering benefits such as complimentary inflight Wi-Fi on Airbus fleet, priority boarding, and an accelerated earn rate on everyday purchases like groceries and dining out. This strategic move addresses common flyer concerns, as revealed by a Wakefield Research survey, highlighting a preference for flying from smaller, regional airports and a desire for a rewards card from a conveniently located airline.
David Neeleman, Founder and CEO of Breeze Airways, emphasized the airline's rapid growth and its ambition to become the preferred choice for frequent travelers. The Breeze Easy Visa Signature card, bolstered by Barclays' expertise in co-branded credit cards and Visa's global payment network, aims to offer unmatched value to its cardholders.
Among the highlighted benefits are a 50,000 BreezePoints sign-up bonus, up to 10X points on select purchases, and special perks like complimentary inflight Wi-Fi and priority boarding. The card, with an $89 annual fee, seeks to make travel 'Twice as Nice' by doubling the points earned on Breeze purchases.
Concurrently, Breeze Airways has launched its loyalty program, Breezy Rewards™, and a 'fare-only' option for travelers seeking basic services. These initiatives reflect the airline's commitment to providing flexible and rewarding travel options to its customers.
As Breeze Airways continues to expand its footprint across the US, the introduction of the Breeze Easy Visa Signature card and the enhancements to its service offerings signify a significant step forward in redefining air travel for its passengers.
