Severe weather has brought damaging winds, hail and tornadoes to the south-central United States. Mexico is affected too.
Basketball-sized hail is recorded not far from the border, Yahoo reports.
The hail fell in Sabinas, Mexico, about 100 miles west-northwest of Laredo, Texas. It is located in the Mexican state of Coahuila.
Videos and photos on social media show baseball-sized hail smashing cars and shattering windshields.
As TravelWise reported, a record hailstorm with a diameter of up to 19 cm hit the city of Azzano Decimo in northern Italy. This is considered the largest hail ever recorded in Europe.
