beOnd Airlines and Ooredoo Maldives Partner to Enhance Travel Connectivity

beOnd Airlines has announced a partnership with Ooredoo Maldives to provide passengers with complimentary Travel SIM cards starting August 2024. This service aims to ensure seamless connectivity for travelers upon arrival in the Maldives.

Operating bi-weekly flights between Milan-Malpensa and the Maldives, beOnd Airlines offers a premium travel experience with lie-flat seating and luxurious amenities. The new initiative is part of the airline's efforts to improve passenger convenience and satisfaction.

Tero Taskila, Chairman and CEO of beOnd, stated, "We are dedicated to enhancing the travel experience for our guests. This partnership with Ooredoo Maldives ensures that our passengers have immediate access to mobile services upon landing."

The Maldives is a popular destination known for its stunning beaches and clear waters, attracting many luxury travelers. With the new Travel SIM cards, visitors will have reliable internet access, allowing them to navigate local attractions and stay connected.

Khalid Hassan Al Hamadi, Managing Director and CEO of Ooredoo Maldives, highlighted the importance of connectivity for modern travelers. "Our Travel SIMs provide seamless connectivity, enhancing the overall travel experience for visitors to the Maldives," he said.

beOnd's cabin crew will distribute the SIM cards before landing at Malé-Velana International Airport. Instructions for activation will be provided, allowing passengers to connect to the Ooredoo network immediately upon arrival.

This partnership demonstrates a commitment to improving the travel experience by providing essential services. The collaboration aims to make journeys to the Maldives more convenient and enjoyable for all passengers.
