British Airways Sweepstakes: Win 1 Million Avios and Custom Luggage
UK flag carrier British Airways, in partnership with Chase, is giving away one million Avios and a custom luggage set to five lucky frequent flyers in the US. The sweepstakes celebrate 30 years of the British Airways Visa Signature credit card and aim to inspire travelers to explore new destinations.
The "Luggage Tagged" sweepstakes encourages British Airways Executive Club members to travel the world. The winners will receive a custom luggage set designed by UK creator Hannah King. The contest is open to US-based Executive Club members aged 18 and up, who can enter daily until August 27th at 23:59 Eastern Time through the official sweepstakes webpage.
Oliver Currell, Head of Joint Business & Partnerships at IAG Loyalty, explained the motivation behind the giveaway, emphasizing British Airways' commitment to connecting customers with the world and providing unmatched value.
Joining the British Airways Executive Club is free, and Avios can be used for redemptions on oneworld carriers and British Airways partners worldwide. British Airways Visa Signature credit card members will receive an additional entry for each daily entry.
The grand prize includes one million Avios, worth approximately $10,000, and a $450 custom luggage set designed by Hannah King. Avios can be used for travel across Europe, Asia, Africa, South America, and domestic US destinations. They can also be transferred to other airline loyalty programs, including Finnair and Qatar Airways.
The custom luggage set features artwork inspired by popular travel destinations such as New York, London, Santorini, Paris, and Cape Town. Lisa Brennan, Managing Director and Head of Chase Avios credit cards, expressed excitement over the campaign and its potential to inspire travelers to explore new destinations.
Chase also offers Avios-earning cards for Iberia and Aer Lingus, which come with an increased sign-up bonus of 85,000 Avios. Qatar Airways also uses Avios for its Privilege Club program and recently launched two cobranded credit cards in the US.
