Budapest named one of the best honeymoon destinations in 2024
The capital of Hungary has been named one of the best honeymoon destinations in the world. Thus, Budapest was ranked 19th in the list of the best honeymoon destinations, according to Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice Awards 2024.
It is noted that this rating determines those hotels, restaurants, attractions and events that remained relevant in the service from October 2022 to September 2023. This was reported in the Daily News Hungary.
It is reported that the leading places were occupied by popular resorts in the world, such as the Maldives and Bali. However, Budapest stands out among them, offering travelers its unique charm and interesting locations. In particular, here newlyweds can visit such sights and places as St. Istvan's Basilica, Aquincum Museum, and Heroes' Square.
In addition, the leading international platform Ubuy conducted a survey to evaluate the best parks in European cities for picnics, in which Budapest took third place, behind London and Berlin. The city received this recognition thanks to the most popular parks Margaret, Varosliget, and Millenaris.
However, the honors do not end there. The Hungarian capital was ranked 17th in the "Best Things to Do" category on Tripadvisor's Traveler's Choice website. This refers to the Budapest Culinary and Wine Walk program. Thus, Budapest took its place among the top 20 wine-related destinations in 2024.
Earlier, TravelWise reported that a new apparatus hotel will open in Budapest in March.
