Cologne instead of Dortmund: Wizz Air to change flights route from Kutaisi

Wizz Air has announced an upcoming change in its flight route starting in October, flying from Kutaisi to Cologne instead of Dortmund.
The Association of Airports confirmed that they had been officially notified of the change and the airline has disseminated this information to its passengers, Caucasus Business Week reports.
Although no official statement has clarified the reasons for the route change, it is believed to be due to ongoing maintenance work.
Currently, Wizz Air operates flights from Kutaisi to five cities in Germany: Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Dortmund, and Memmingen.
The temporary re-routing is likely to affect travel plans, but it also emphasizes the airline's flexibility amid infrastructure upgrades.
