Traveling by private jet speeds up the time waiting to check in and greatly enhances the travel experience. In addition, private jets seamlessly combine innovation and luxurious comfort during the flight.

Simple Flying has compared two business jets - the Dassault Falcon 2000 and the Bombardier Challenger 605, which are among the best in their segment. So, which of these business jets turned out to be the best is discussed below.

Dassault Falcon 2000

The Falcon 2000 is a twin-engine business jet manufactured by the French company Dassault Aviation, which was tested in 1993. Production of the original, but improved version of this aircraft ended in 2006. Thus, more than 230 units of this aircraft are currently in operation.

This aircraft has a maximum speed of 613 mph / 987 km/h over a range of up to 3452 miles / 5555 km with 8 passengers on board. In total, the Falcon 2000 can accommodate up to 19 passengers in a space of 20 cubic meters.

Bombardier Challenger 605

Instead, the Challenger 605, produced by the Canadian company Bombardier, is a continuation of the Challenger 600 series, which began production the same year as the Falcon 2000. In 2016, this airplane was also discontinued, and therefore only 290 models of this airplane remain today.

The Challenger 605 is capable of reaching speeds of up to 540 mph / 870 km/h over a distance of 4657 miles / 7495 km with 9 passengers in the cabin. The aircraft can accommodate up to 12 passengers in an area of 32.5 cubic meters.

Thus, both aircraft have significant advantages depending on the chosen destination or the number of passengers on board. They can provide safety and comfort during the flight, but the Falcon 2000 is perfect for large companies, while the Challenger 605 has a significant advantage in speed and space.
