Delta Air Lines announced the creation of new premium lounges
Delta Air Lines is planning to open new premium lounges. According to the carrier, the future lounges will provide separate services without affecting the operation of the existing exclusive Sky Clubs.
It is noted that the airline did not provide any additional information about the features and access rules of the new lounges. At the same time, it is known that the first premium lounge is scheduled to open in June this year at JFK Airport. This was reported by Travel Weekly.
Delta reported that the company plans to open 3 lounges in New York, Los Angeles, and Boston. The first lounge with a 38,000-square-foot terrace will be the largest in the network and will complement the recently opened Sky Club. Two more are scheduled to open during the fourth quarter of 2024 in Los Angeles and Boston.
It is noted that the new facility in Los Angeles will join Delta Sky Club and will have an area of 10,000 square feet, an outdoor terrace and direct access to the elevator from the Delta One check-in area. In Boston, the lounge will be 6,300 square feet and will join three existing Sky Clubs.
