Delta One Passengers to Receive Luxury Amenity Kits by Missoni
Delta Air Lines' Delta One premium class passengers will soon be treated to new luxury amenity kits designed by the renowned Italian fashion house, Missoni. This initiative is part of Delta's ongoing efforts to enhance the passenger experience and expand its network offerings.
The exclusive Missoni kit will feature the brand's iconic zigzag texture and patterns, reflecting a sophisticated color palette inspired by the sky. Each kit will include Grown Alchemist skincare products, a bamboo toothbrush with toothpaste, an eye mask, earplugs, socks, and a pen. The kits will be available on Delta flights to Paris and Italy starting in mid-July and will be rolled out globally on all Delta One routes by September.
Beyond the amenity kits, Delta's collaboration with Missoni extends to the design of the new Delta One Lounge at New York-JFK Airport, opening on June 26th. The lounge will showcase Missoni's home collection and other luxury elements, providing a high-end experience for premium passengers.
Delta's VP of Brand Experience Design highlighted the impact of these enhancements, stating that the Missoni-designed kits and lounge elements will significantly elevate the premium passenger experience. The airline plans to open multiple lounge facilities across its network in 2024, adding over 2,700 seats to its lounge capacity.
In addition to these amenities, Delta is introducing a new summer menu featuring specially curated dishes for the Olympic Games, available on flights to Paris. These meals are created in collaboration with renowned chefs and will be offered to Delta One passengers, while Premium Select passengers will have the option to pre-select meals.
Delta is also expanding its network with new routes, including Austin to Harlingen, Minneapolis to Aruba, Minneapolis to St. Maarten, and Orlando to London, commencing this fall and winter.
