Disney Treasure Cruise: A €20 000 Magical Voyage
Disney Cruise Line is set to launch its latest ship, the Disney Treasure, on a grand voyage this December. Departing from Port Canaveral in Florida, the ship will explore the eastern and western Caribbean, offering passengers an immersive Disney-themed experience at sea.
The Disney Treasure, a sister ship to the Disney Wish, boasts an impressive size and capacity. Measuring 341 meters in length and weighing around 144,000 tonnes, it can accommodate 5,000 passengers and is staffed by a crew of 1,555. The ship is powered by liquefied natural gas, reaching a maximum speed of 23 mph. It features 15 decks and 1,254 cabins, all adorned with scenes and characters from beloved Disney films.
One of the ship's most luxurious offerings is the Concierge Tomorrow Tower Suite. This two-story suite can host up to eight guests and includes amenities such as a library, five bathrooms, and a private lift.
Beyond standard cruise ship amenities, the Disney Treasure stands out with unique attractions. Notably, it features 'AquaMouse: Curse of the Golden Egg,' a roller coaster-like ride where guests travel in two-person vehicles through 230 meters of winding tubes on the ship's upper decks, providing stunning views of the ocean.
The maiden voyage of the Disney Treasure is set for December 21, 2024, and will last seven days, covering various destinations in the Caribbean. Prices for this journey vary significantly depending on the departure date and accommodations. For instance, a cruise scheduled for March 29, 2025, starts at approximately €5800. However, for a more luxurious experience, such as a stay in the Concierge Suite, prices can exceed €23500 for certain dates in April.
As the launch date approaches, excitement builds among Disney fans and cruise enthusiasts alike. The Disney Treasure promises a magical journey filled with the charm and wonder that Disney is known for, making it a highly anticipated addition to the Disney Cruise Line fleet.
