Disneyland's Haunted Mansion Reopens with Nightmare Before Christmas Theme
Disneyland's iconic Haunted Mansion is set to reopen on July 29, 2024, following extensive refurbishments. The attraction will return as the "holiday" Nightmare Before Christmas version, bringing fresh excitement to travelers.
The Haunted Mansion will feature décor inspired by "Nightmare Before Christmas," with a newly designed gingerbread house taking center stage in the ballroom scene. This early debut of the Haunted Mansion Holiday theme allows guests to enjoy characters like Jack Skellington, Sally, and Zero.
To handle the anticipated high demand, Disneyland will implement a Virtual Queue for the Haunted Mansion Holiday. Guests must use the Disneyland app to request access to the attraction, as a standby queue will not be available. Visitors can join the virtual queue twice daily.
At 7:00 AM, those with a park reservation for Disneyland Park or a Park Hopper ticket can attempt to secure a spot. A second opportunity arises at 12:00 PM for guests already inside Disney California Adventure Park or Disneyland Park. Each guest can join the virtual queue only once per day during regular park hours, and a theme park reservation is required.
To ensure a smooth experience, visitors should link their MyDisney account to their park tickets before arriving. This preparation will streamline the process of joining the virtual queue and enhance the overall enjoyment of the revamped Haunted Mansion.
In addition, in celebration of Disneyland's 69th anniversary, Anaheim residents can take advantage of a special promotion. They can now purchase a one-day, single-park ticket for just $69 per person, making it an opportune time for locals to visit the park and experience the newly renovated attractions.
