Earn Flights with Your Rent: Alaska Airlines and Bilt Rewards Launch Innovative Partnership
In a groundbreaking move, Alaska Airlines and Bilt Rewards have joined forces to transform rent payments into a ticket to travel. Starting today, renters across the U.S. can earn Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles for every dollar paid on rent through the Bilt Rewards program. This initiative aims to make one of life’s biggest expenses—rent—into an opportunity for adventure and exploration.
Alaska Airlines' partnership with Bilt Rewards marks a significant expansion of its loyalty program, offering Mileage Plan members a novel way to accumulate miles. Brett Catlin, Alaska Airlines' Vice President of Loyalty, Alliances, and Sales, highlights the collaboration's goal to deliver added value to renters, especially those using the Alaska Visa Signature card. This synergy builds on Alaska's commitment to an industry-leading loyalty experience, enabling travel to over 1,000 global destinations.
The conversion rate is straightforward: 1,000 Bilt Rewards points equal 1,000 Mileage Plan miles. Moreover, an enticing offer awaits Alaska Visa Signature cardholders, who will soon be able to triple their miles for rent payments, potentially earning up to 3 miles for every dollar spent on rent, subject to a $50,000 annual cap.
Bilt Rewards CEO, Ankur Jain, envisions the partnership as a means to enhance the travel possibilities for its members, affirming both brands' dedication to offering valuable rewards for rent payments. Bilt Rewards stands as the first program of its kind, allowing consumers to earn points on rent and neighborhood spend, and creating avenues toward homeownership.
This unique collaboration between Alaska Airlines and Bilt Rewards signifies a shift in how loyalty programs operate, directly benefiting renters by turning their largest monthly expense into an opportunity for memorable travel experiences.
