Emerald Princess Arrives in Boston for First Homeport Season
On July 14, the Emerald Princess debuted at Flynn Cruiseport Boston, starting its first homeport season in Boston. This season includes 10 cruises to Canada and New England with the option to visit Greenland.
The Emerald Princess, which accommodates 3,080 passengers, offers cruises ranging from seven to 17 days. Travelers will be able to enjoy the beauty of fall foliage, colonial history, and the region’s lighthouses. A highlight is the opportunity to visit the world's largest island, Greenland, known for its landscapes and unique wildlife.
The cruise itineraries include:
Canada and New England (Seven Days): roundtrip from Boston, visiting Halifax, Sydney (Cape Breton Island), Charlottetown (Prince Edward Island), and either Portland or Bar Harbor. Departures: July 14, 21, 28; August 4, 2024.
Classic Canada and New England (10 Days): from Boston to Quebec with stops in Portland, Saint John (for the Bay of Fundy), Halifax, Sydney (Cape Breton Island), Charlottetown (Prince Edward Island), and Saguenay. Departures: August 28; September 17; October 7, 2024. Two reverse itineraries from Quebec to Boston on September 7 and 27, 2024.
Greenland and Canada (17 Days): roundtrip from Boston, visiting three ports in Greenland — Nuuk, Qaqortoq, and Nanortalik — as well as Sydney (Cape Breton Island), Corner Brook, St. Anthony (Newfoundland), and St. John's (Newfoundland). Departure: August 11, 2024.
