Eurowings Expands Flight Network From Germany to Saudi Arabia

The airline Eurowings is expanding its flight network for the winter schedule of 2025/26 by introducing a new direct connection between Stuttgart and Jeddah. Starting November 5, 2025, Germany’s largest low-cost carrier will operate flights twice a week to Saudi Arabia’s key Red Sea port city. Flights will depart on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with an approximate travel time of six hours. Additionally, Eurowings is increasing the frequency of its Stuttgart–Dubai route, offering six weekly flights instead of the current four.
Jeddah is a major economic and tourism hub, combining old world historical sites with new world attractions. Its UNESCO-listed old town, bustling commercial districts, and coastal location make it a popular destination. The new route also benefits religious travelers, providing easier access to the pilgrimage sites of Mecca and Medina. Meanwhile, Dubai continues to be a prime destination, attracting visitors with its architectural marvels, luxury experiences, and world-class business infrastructure.
In addition to Stuttgart, Eurowings is also expanding its presence in Hannover. Starting November 4, 2025, the airline will launch three weekly direct flights from Hannover to Dubai, operating on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The seven-hour flight connects travelers from northern Germany to one of the world's most dynamic cities. Dubai remains a top choice for winter vacations, with its sunny climate, entertainment options, and strategic location as a gateway to further travel in the Middle East and Asia.
Eurowings continues to strengthen its position at Hannover Airport. For the summer schedule of 2026, the airline will introduce new routes to Lisbon, Erbil, and Corsica, in addition to increasing flight frequencies to Rome, Stockholm, and Palma de Mallorca. This expansion aligns with the airline’s strategy to enhance connectivity and provide budget-friendly travel options across Europe and beyond.
It results in more flexibility and availability for different destinations from the extended flight schedule. From leisure to work, the enhanced connectivity provides much easier means of travel benefits especially those planning for winter getaways or strategic business locations. Increasing network of Eurowings is evidence of the growing need for direct international flights, making longhaul travel easier and more accessible.
