Explore Fermanagh Lakelands with Summer Translink Service
Travelers heading to the Fermanagh Lakelands this summer can benefit from a new initiative offering a 15% discount on Guided Cave Tour tickets at the Marble Arch Caves, available when using the Summer Translink Service. This special service runs from July 1st to August 31st, 2024, providing a convenient transportation option to two of the region's top attractions.
The Summer Translink Service connects Enniskillen Bus Station with the Marble Arch Caves and Cuilcagh Boardwalk Trail, operating Monday to Friday, excluding July 12th. The bus departs at 11:45 am and returns at 4:30 pm, giving travelers plenty of time to explore these stunning natural sites.
Councillor John McClaughry, Chair of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, highlighted the service's role in improving access to the Cuilcagh Lakelands UNESCO Global Geopark. He encourages both residents and tourists to take advantage of this service to experience the area's natural beauty.
Travelers can purchase bus tickets online, with prices set at £5.40 for an adult return ticket (ages 15 and up), £2.70 for a child's return ticket, and £24.00 for a family of six unlimited day travel ticket. Children aged four and under can travel for free. The 15% discount on Guided Cave Tour tickets is available upon presenting a bus ticket to the staff on the day of the visit.
Guided Cave Tours are available daily from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm throughout July and August, lasting between 60 to 75 minutes and suitable for all ages. Booking tour tickets online in advance is recommended to avoid peak period waiting times.
