Finnair Introduces New Summer Menu for In-Flight Dining
Starting May 22, 2024, Finnair will launch a new summer menu for its European and long-haul flights. The updated selection includes a variety of snacks, meals, and beverages inspired by Nordic summer flavors.
Passengers will have access to new in-flight purchase options, such as vegetable Bolognese pasta, vegetable korma curry noodles, and berry oatmeal. The snack menu will feature cashew nuts, blueberry muffins, and a selection of Finnish candies, including liquorice and fruit candy. A new rosé wine will also be available.
Complimentary services will continue to include water and blueberry juice on all flights except the short route to Tallinn. Coffee drinkers will now have the option of an oat drink alongside regular milk.
In Business Class on long-haul flights, passengers can enjoy dishes like salmon sashimi, shrimp tartalet, and slow-cooked beef with mushroom duxelle. Premium Economy will offer a high-quality main meal and a lighter second meal or snack, with a variety of hot and cold beverages available.
Economy Class passengers on long-haul flights will receive a hot meal with non-alcoholic beverages and one complimentary glass of wine or a mild alcoholic drink. On longer flights, a light meal or snack will be served before landing.
Special dietary requirements can be accommodated by pre-selecting options at least 24 hours before the flight. Finnair changes its in-flight menus two to three times a year, adapting to seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
This summer menu update reflects Finnair's ongoing efforts to enhance passenger experience with fresh and seasonal options. More information about the new offerings is available on the Finnair website.
