Flight attendant advised tourists to book flights for 5:00 a.m., explaining why it is the best time
Tourists who book their vacation tickets in advance usually choose flights in the afternoon or evening to pack their bags, get to the airport, and get enough sleep before the flight. Sometimes, however, this can play a bad joke on them.
After a busy day during peak season, many planes are delayed and sometimes some flights are even cancelled. Flight attendant Caroline advised tourists to look for tickets at unpopular times. The Scottish Sun writes about her advice.
In her Instagram video, the Fort Lauderdale-based travel expert explains why early flights are the best choice for travel.
"I know you don't want to wake up at 3 a.m. to catch a 5 a.m. flight. But I promise you that the earlier your flight is, the calmer it will be," the flight attendant said.
Early birds get a number of advantages: fewer delays, a calm atmosphere, and cheaper tickets as prices for morning flights are usually much lower than for travel during the day.
Caroline also shared a few tips to help make travelling less stressful:
- When booking a connecting flight, make sure you have enough time to get through customs and security.
- Download the airline's app. It will give you access to up-to-date information about your flight, as well as allow you to check in, download your boarding pass, and receive notifications of any delays.
- Arrive at the airport in advance. Even if you're taking an early flight, it's best to arrive at the airport in advance to avoid being in a hurry.
