Flight-Free Holidays in Europe with CV Villas
CV Villas has launched new flight-free travel options in partnership with the travel platform Byway, offering European itineraries that bypass air travel entirely. This initiative aims to cater to environmentally conscious travelers looking to reduce their carbon footprint while exploring beautiful destinations across Europe.
The new service allows customers to book pre-built itineraries using trains, ferries, and buses. Destinations include Portugal, Corfu, the French Riviera, Morocco, and several Italian regions such as Sicily, Tuscany, Puglia, the Amalfi Coast, and Umbria. These itineraries are designed to ensure convenience and sustainability, with accommodations located near train stations or chosen for their eco-friendly credentials.
CV Villas Managing Director, Pete Brudenell, emphasized the growing concern among travelers about their environmental impact. He stated, "We understand that travelers are now factoring in their carbon footprint when going on holiday. This new partnership with Byway allows us to offer a solution to conscious travelers. Travelling by train is one of the most environmentally friendly modes of transport and by choosing to travel by train, you are going a long way to reducing your carbon footprint."
One of the highlighted trips is a 16-night journey to Umbria, priced from 2000 euro per person. This itinerary includes stops in Basel, Milan, Florence, Rome, Munich, and Paris, as well as a seven-night stay in a villa. The trips are customizable, allowing travelers to adjust their budget and duration preferences.
This collaboration between CV Villas and Byway marks a significant step towards sustainable tourism, providing travelers with more eco-friendly options without sacrificing comfort or adventure. By integrating train, ferry, and bus travel, this initiative supports the growing trend of sustainable travel and offers a compelling alternative to traditional air travel.
