The incident, which occurred on Wednesday, May 8th, forced the airline to cancel the flight, initially scheduled to depart at 18:30 local time to Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu.
Collision Leads to Extended Delays
The collision with the baggage belt loader necessitated a thorough inspection by maintenance teams, but the crew timed out before the aircraft could be cleared for flight, leading to the cancellation. The airline rescheduled the flight for Thursday morning, but further unspecified delays pushed the departure back to early Saturday, May 11th.

As the delays mounted, passengers expressed their frustrations with the airline's handling of the situation. Nichole, one of the affected passengers, voiced concerns over the uncertainty of departure and the inconvenience caused by the extended delay.
