Hilton announces the launch of its fourth annual Travel Advisor Appreciation Sweepstakes to commemorate National Travel Agent Recognition Month, celebrated annually in May to acknowledge the indispensable contribution of agents to the tourism industry.

To mark the Travel Agent Recognition Month, Hilton's competition offers 10 lucky winners the chance to win 100,000 Hilton Honors points, redeemable at over 7,600 hotels worldwide. Travel agents are invited to participate by familiarizing themselves with the overview of Hilton's various brands and offerings and completing a short quiz.

Travel agents are essential to Hilton for several reasons. Firstly, they are key partners in promoting and selling Hilton's services, helping to attract new clients and retain existing ones. Secondly, travel agents provide valuable advice and information about Hilton's hotel market to their clients, assisting them in making the right choices. Additionally, travel agents establish and maintain important business relationships with Hilton hotels, fostering mutually beneficial partnerships and brand development. Finally, travel agents help attract new guests and expand the audience for Hilton hotels, contributing to increased revenue and brand popularity.

John Ryan, vice president of global travel partnerships, leisure, and all-inclusive sales at Hilton, expressed gratitude, stating: "As a proud partner of the American Society of Travel Agents, Hilton recognizes the importance of travel agents as our partners and the role they play in our business. Every May, we gratefully seize this opportunity to honor them and acknowledge their outstanding contributions."

Highlighting recent achievements, Hilton recently announced its intention to acquire the Graduate Hotels brand and a controlling stake in the Sydell Group, opening up new prospects for both guests and travel agents. These initiatives promise expanded global opportunities, further strengthening Hilton's significant impact.

The Travel Agent Recognition Competition runs until May 31, 2024, and is open to travel agents worldwide. Winners will be notified by June 10, 2024.
