Holland America Line has announced the opening of bookings for its 2026 Grand World Voyage and Grand Australia and New Zealand Voyage. These journeys will take place aboard the Volendam and Zaandam, respectively, offering travelers an unparalleled cruising experience. The Grand World Voyage will last 132 days, while the Grand Australia and New Zealand Voyage will be 93 days, both departing from U.S. ports.
The 2026 Grand World Voyage on the Volendam will depart from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and visit 48 ports in 25 countries. This extensive route will allow passengers to visit all seven continents, including stops in Antarctica and Oslo, Norway. The journey promises an enriching global experience, immersing guests in diverse cultures and breathtaking landscapes.
Meanwhile, the 2026 Grand Australia and New Zealand Voyage aboard the Zaandam will start from San Diego, California. This 93-day journey will visit 44 ports in 10 countries, including Hawaii, Fiji, French Polynesia, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, and Vanuatu. Passengers will have extended stops in several places, such as Papeete, Tahiti, and Raiatea, French Polynesia, allowing for a deeper exploration of local culture and nightlife.
One of the highlights of these cruises will be the rendezvous of the Volendam and Zaandam in Sydney, Australia. The Zaandam will arrive on March 6, 2026, for an overnight stay, and the Volendam will arrive on March 7 for another overnight stay, giving guests the opportunity to see both ships together in one of the world's iconic harbors.
