How to write a letter to Santa Claus and get a response: address
As the holiday season is approaching and Christmas is just a few weeks away, Santa Claus is already in full swing to receive letters.
Moreover, letters received by the deadline will be answered. Yahoo has provided information on how to write a message to Santa and where to send it in the United States.
USPS Operation Santa
One of the best ways to reach Santa is through the US Postal Service's Operation Santa program. The 111-year-old program started accepting letters to Santa on September 18. The deadline for sending a letter to Santa is December 11.
The postal service says that letters are accepted from all over the country and that there are no age restrictions for letter writers.
"Everyone deserves to feel the magic of the season," the agency's website says.
What the letter should look like
All letters must contain a first and last name, as well as a complete return address with street address, apartment number (if available), city, state, and zip code.
Letters sent in a regular or business-size envelope must be first-class postage stamped to be able to pass through the Postal Service's processing systems.
Multiple letters may be placed in the same envelope, but each letter must include a full name and address. Envelopes may incur additional postage depending on the number of letters.
Parents can also send letters on behalf of their young children.
Santa Claus's address
Letters can be sent to the following address:
