- investing in local real estate funds with a minimum of 250,000 euros approved by the National Bank of Hungary;
- purchase of real estate worth EUR 500,000 with the obligation to retain ownership for at least 5 years;
- a generous donation of EUR 1 million to public funds, helping Hungarian colleges and universities.
What are the preliminary steps for global investors to obtain a residence permit in Hungary?
Firstly, international investors must obtain a two-year visitor investor visa, which allows multiple entries into Hungary and stays of up to 90 days within 180 days. The chosen investment must be rewarded within three months of the first entry.
What is the validity period of a Hungarian golden visa?
Initially, the residence permit is valid for 10 years with the possibility of extension for 10 years. Investors can bring their family members.
