Iberia Expands Digital Services and Enhances In-Flight Experience
This summer, Iberia has introduced several new features aimed at improving the travel experience for its customers. The updates include expanded digital services through WhatsApp and significant upgrades to in-flight meals and amenities.
Iberia now allows customers to check in, obtain boarding passes, review reservations, and receive flight notifications through its WhatsApp channel (+34 676 67 60 04). This service is available for a variety of destinations, including domestic and international flights. Additionally, payments for services such as extra luggage will soon be available via WhatsApp. An exclusive channel has also been introduced for Iberia Plus Platinum, Infinita, and Infinita Prime customers.
The airline has also made significant enhancements to its digital platforms, including the Iberia.com website and its mobile apps. These improvements feature a more efficient search engine, interactive maps, and detailed destination information. Customers can now enjoy new seat maps and the ability to change seats of the same type at no extra cost. The My Iberia feature allows users to personalize their profiles for quicker reservations, check-ins, and flight changes.
Iberia has updated its onboard meal options for long-haul flights, offering new dishes in Business, Premium Economy, and Economy classes. The Gastrobar and Pre-Order menus have been refreshed with new items, and a special celebration pack is now available, allowing payments through Google Pay and Apple Pay.
Additionally, new amenity kits designed by Teresa Helbig are now available in Business and Premium Economy classes. These kits are made from recycled materials and feature natural, vegan cosmetics produced in Spain.
In-flight entertainment options have also been expanded, including exclusive Disney+ content and the latest film releases. Furthermore, Iberia's Premium Lounges at Barajas T4 now offer digital service access via QR codes and updated menus for the summer season. From July to December, Platinum, Infinita, and Infinita Prime customers will receive vouchers for Cabify rides to the airport.
Iberia continues to grow its presence in Latin America and the United States, increasing flight frequencies and adding new destinations. The airline has also expanded its European network with new routes to Ljubljana, Tirana, Cagliari, Palermo, Ponta Delgada, Faro, and Funchal.
