IHG Hotels & Resorts Debuts in Turks and Caicos with Three New Hotels
IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced its debut in the Turks and Caicos Islands, with resorts to be located on the renowned Grace Bay Beach in Providenciales. All three hotels are expected to open by 2027.
As one of the world's leading hotel companies, IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed agreements to build three new hotels in the Turks and Caicos Islands. The project is being executed in collaboration with Molo Hotel Group and Lighthouse Hotel Management.
The new hotels will offer 59 ocean-view rooms, an outdoor pool, a fitness center, and a Club InterContinental. Kimpton Turks & Caicos, with 192 rooms, will feature seven dining options, multiple pools, and a spa. Hotel Indigo Turks & Caicos will embody the local atmosphere with 56 rooms, a restaurant, and a café. Paul Adan, IHG’s Regional Vice President, noted that this expansion is part of the company's strategic focus on the Caribbean market.
Turks and Caicos Premier Charles Washington Misick welcomed the partnership as a significant step for the local economy and tourism industry. The collaboration with local institutions aims to develop human capital and strengthen the island's economy.
IHG's new expansion on this beach is expected to attract additional tourists and contribute to the development of local infrastructure. Thus, the new IHG hotels in the Turks and Caicos Islands will mark an important stage in the company's regional expansion and support the economic development of the islands.
