ITA Airways is set to enhance its intercontinental network for the 2024-2025 winter season by increasing flight frequencies on its popular Rome to Miami and Rome to Malè routes. These additional flights will commence on October 31, 2024, and tickets are now available for purchase.

Starting late October, ITA Airways will introduce two more weekly flights on the Rome-Miami route, expanding from seven to nine flights per week. The new flights will operate on Thursdays and Saturdays, serviced by Airbus A330-900 aircraft.

  • New Rome-Miami Flights:
    • Days: Thursdays and Saturdays
    • Departure from Rome: 3:00 p.m. (local time)
    • Arrival in Miami: 9:55 p.m. (local time)
    • Return from Miami: 11:20 p.m. (local time)
    • Arrival in Rome: 3:10 p.m. (local time)

The increased frequencies to Miami underscore ITA Airways' strong performance on North American routes, emphasizing the strategic importance of this market, which is second only to Italy in significance for the airline. ITA Airways currently operates eight routes to the United States and Canada, having recently launched direct flights to Chicago and Toronto.

In addition to the enhanced Miami service, ITA Airways will also increase its flights to Malè, the capital of the Maldives, during the peak Christmas holiday season. The Rome-Malè route will operate up to six times a week between December 30, 2024, and January 5, 2025.

  • Increased Rome-Malè Flights:
    • Period: December 30, 2024 - January 5, 2025
    • Frequency: Up to six times a week
    • Departure from Rome: 10:15 p.m. (local time)
    • Arrival in Malè: 11:25 a.m. (local time)
    • Return from Malè: 1:25 p.m. (local time)
    • Arrival in Rome: 7:50 p.m. (local time)

The expanded winter schedule demonstrates ITA Airways' commitment to offering enhanced connectivity and convenience for travelers. Passengers can easily access these flights through ITA Airways' extensive network, which offers convenient connections from major European and domestic airports.

Tickets for the new flights can be purchased through ITA Airways' official website, customer service centers, travel agencies, and airport ticket offices. This expansion aligns with ITA Airways' strategic focus on providing exceptional service and boosting international travel and tourism.
