JetBlue Offers 25% Off Fall Flights with Limited-Time Discount
JetBlue is offering a limited-time discount for travelers looking to fly this fall, with a 25% discount on many nonstop flights between September 7 and November 20. This promotion comes as part of JetBlue's strategy to attract more passengers after the busy summer travel season.
JetBlue's fall sale, running for just two days, provides significant savings for travelers. To take advantage of the offer, customers must use the promo code FALL2024 and book by July 10, 11:59 pm EST. The discount applies only to base fares on nonstop flights and excludes travel on Fridays and Sundays, transatlantic flights, and Mint services.
This promotion aims to boost passenger numbers during the fall months, a typically slower travel period. JetBlue's head of marketing and customer support, Jayne O’Brien, highlighted the airline's commitment to offering value to customers, mentioning new routes to the Caribbean and Latin America and the inclusion of free carry-on bags for all fares starting September 6.
JetBlue is also changing its carry-on bag policy. Beginning September 6, passengers with the lowest fare, Basic Blue, will be allowed one carry-on bag in addition to their personal items. This adjustment aligns JetBlue with other major US carriers like American Airlines and Delta Air Lines, which already allow carry-on bags for basic fare passengers.
In other developments, JetBlue is seeking approval from the US Department of Transportation to add a second daily nonstop flight between Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) and Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Additionally, the airline plans to phase out its Embraer E190 fleet, removing these flights from its New York JFK schedule starting next April.
These initiatives reflect JetBlue's efforts to enhance its services and maintain a competitive edge in the airline industry.
