JetBlue to Launch Daily Flights from Boston to Presque Isle
JetBlue has announced that it will start new daily flights between Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and Presque Isle International Airport (PQI) beginning September 5, 2024. This route aims to provide improved travel options for residents of northern Maine and New Brunswick, with tickets now available for purchase on JetBlue.com.
The new service will connect northern Maine to Boston, offering convenient same-terminal connections to numerous destinations including Florida, Las Vegas, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic. This expansion will also make it easier for travelers to reach the scenic and culturally rich region of the Crown of Maine.
Dave Jehn, JetBlue’s Vice President of Network Planning and Airline Partnerships, emphasized the airline’s commitment to delivering reliable and high-quality service to northern Maine. He expressed gratitude to the U.S. Department of Transportation for selecting JetBlue for this Essential Air Service route.
Presque Isle City Council Chair Kevin Freeman highlighted the community's anticipation for JetBlue’s arrival and the positive impact it will have on local air travel. The collaboration with JetBlue is expected to enhance connectivity and travel experiences for residents and visitors alike.
The new service will feature daily flights from Boston to Presque Isle. Flight #206 will depart Boston at 8:45 p.m. and arrive in Presque Isle at 10:10 p.m. The return Flight #207 will leave Presque Isle at 5:45 a.m. and reach Boston at 7:10 a.m., starting on September 6, 2024. This route is set to facilitate better travel opportunities and strengthen ties between the regions.
