Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas to Close This Summer What You Need to Know If You Have Reservations
The Mirage Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas will officially close its doors on July 17. This 65-acre property will soon undergo extensive renovations and will reopen in 2027 as the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and Guitar Hotel Las Vegas.
The transformation of Mirage into the Hard Rock will change the Las Vegas skyline with a new 700-foot guitar-shaped building, similar to the one that already exists in Hollywood, Florida. Mirage President Joe Lupo expressed gratitude to all employees for their contribution to providing unforgettable experiences for guests.
For those who want to stay at Mirage one last time before it closes, room rates range from $399 to $99 in the final months of operation. The last available night for booking is July 14, at a price of $99.
Currently, Mirage hosts popular shows such as Cirque du Soleil's The Beatles Love and magician Shin Lim's "Limitless." Due to the hotel's closure, The Beatles Love will end on July 6, and Shin Lim's show will end on July 14. If customers have existing reservations or show tickets after July 14, their orders will be automatically canceled and refunded.
Mirage is the latest of the classic Las Vegas casinos to close, making way for new attractions. On April 2, the Tropicana Las Vegas closed its doors after 70 years on the Strip. The property will be demolished and replaced with a new 30,000-seat baseball stadium for the Athletics team.
