New Direct Flights Link Bangkok and Delhi, Boosting Travel Convenience
Thai AirAsia X is set to launch a new direct route from Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport to Delhi, offering travelers a seamless connection between Thailand and India starting on the fifteenth of December, twenty twenty-four. With initial fares beginning at three thousand two hundred ninety Thai baht per one-way trip, tickets are available for booking from the fifteenth to the twenty-fourth of November, twenty twenty-four, for travel dates extending through the twenty-sixth of March, twenty twenty-five. This service aims to ease access to Delhi, one of India’s most iconic cities, as part of Thai AirAsia X's expanding network.
The route will operate twice weekly, with plans to increase frequency to four flights per week beginning in mid-January twenty twenty-five. Using Airbus A330 aircraft, each flight will offer seating for between two hundred eighty-five and three hundred seventy-seven passengers. The flights are scheduled to depart Don Mueang at twelve forty-five in the afternoon, reaching Delhi by three fifty in the afternoon, with the return journey from Delhi departing at five oh five in the evening and arriving back in Bangkok by ten fifty at night. The route marks a significant enhancement to Thai AirAsia X’s offerings, providing travelers with an efficient and straightforward link to Northern India.
For travelers, this new service means greater convenience and flexibility. The direct flights remove the need for layovers, allowing travelers to reach Delhi quickly. For those interested in exploring other parts of Thailand, the airline’s Fly Thru service provides easy transfers to major tourist destinations like Chiang Mai and Phuket. This network expansion not only facilitates smoother travel within Thailand but also positions Delhi as a strategic entry point for exploring India’s northern regions.
Additionally, this direct connection opens up new opportunities for cultural exchange and tourism. Thai travelers can immerse themselves in Delhi’s rich history and landmarks, such as the India Gate and Red Fort, while Indian visitors gain streamlined access to Thailand’s famous beaches and temples. The service underscores the increasing demand for cross-border travel between Thailand and India, bringing both countries’ vibrant cultures closer.
For tourists from both countries, this expansion by Thai AirAsia X represents more than just convenience—it provides a gateway to experiencing new destinations in a cost-effective and efficient way. Travelers now have enhanced access to both urban and natural attractions, with improved options for multi-destination itineraries across the region.
