New Jetstar Uniform: The airline celebrates its 20th anniversary
On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, the Australian low-cost airline Jetstar has updated the uniforms for its employees. From now on, the company is replacing the usual black and orange uniforms with a blue and pale orange palette for its employees.
Thus, the new clothing will be worn by pilots, flight attendants, and other members of the airport team in the locations where the carrier is based, namely in New Zealand, Japan, and Singapore. This is reported by Simple Flying.
To create the new uniform, Australian fashion designer Genevieve Smart was involved, who collaborated with 40 Jetstar pilots and team members. This uniform is set to debut as Jetstar prepares to celebrate its 20th anniversary in May.
It is noted that the full update should take place by the end of this year. According to Jetstar Group CEO Stephanie Tully, this update of the uniforms, which have not changed in 20 years, marks a new era for the company and travel.
"We listened to our people, and together we wanted to create a uniform that reflects how far we've come as we head into our third decade of operation. With the help of Genevieve Smart, the new collection caters to everyone's needs and gives our team more freedom to choose what they would like to wear," said Stephanie Tully.
