New Opportunities for Europeans: Turkish Airlines Launches Flights to Sydney
European travelers will soon gain new opportunities for convenient flights to Australia as Turkish Airlines expands its route network. Starting this December, the airline will begin regular flights between Istanbul and Sydney, providing European passengers with another easy way to reach Australia.
Direct Flights and Convenient Connections
The new routes will offer a faster and more comfortable travel experience between Europe and Australia, which is especially important for those who prefer to minimize layovers. Turkish Airlines will operate four flights a week from Istanbul to Sydney with a stopover in Kuala Lumpur. By 2026, the airline plans to launch the first non-stop flight from Europe to Sydney, reducing travel time to 22 hours.
The use of modern Airbus A350-1000 aircraft will provide a high level of comfort and fuel efficiency, which will directly impact ticket prices. This will allow European travelers to save significantly on flights while gaining access to new opportunities to visit Australia.
More Choices for Passengers
The introduction of new Turkish Airlines routes strengthens competition among carriers offering flights to Australia, leading to lower prices and improved service quality. Turkish Airlines will become the second European airline, alongside British Airways, to operate flights from Sydney Airport.
For European passengers, this means more airline options, improved connections through Istanbul, and more flexible routes for travel planning. The launch of new flights will also make various destinations in Australia more accessible, thanks to Turkish Airlines' extensive network.
