New routes announced at the Philippine International Airport
Clark International Airport in the Philippines has announced the introduction of new routes. Thus, the airport plans to operate flights to an additional 13 destinations.
The airport administration believes that due to the ongoing economic recovery and the introduction of new routes, it will be possible to double the number of passengers to 4 million. This was reported by INQUIRER.net.
According to Arrey Perez, President and CEO of Clark International Airport Corp. (CIAC), the airport's administration is optimistic about the increase in demand and further passenger traffic through Pampanga's gates: "We are constantly opening up the economy. We are still recovering from the pandemic, and so we are very pleased with the performance of Clark International Airport."
Thus, this year, Clark International Airport Corp. (CIAC) will introduce flights to the following destinations: Taipei, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Narita, Macau, Jeonju, Coron, Bacolod, Iloilo, Davao, General Santos, Cagayan de Oro and Puerto Princesa.
It is noted that Clark International Airport (CIAC) currently hosts 23 airlines and serves 11 international and 10 domestic destinations, with an annual capacity of 8 million passengers.
