Radisson Hotel Group achieved record growth in 2023
Radisson Hotel Group ended 2023 with exceptional growth, adding more than 30,000 keys to its international portfolio of 10 leading brands through openings and signings. Since the launch of its transformation plan in 2018, the group has increased its business by almost 50%.
In 2023, the group strengthened its position as one of the leading international hotel groups in the Middle East by signing agreements with 11 hotels, resorts and serviced apartments across the region. Radisson Hotel Group's strategic focus remains on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UAE. It is reported by tradearabia.com.
The group's flagship brand, Radisson Blu, remains the largest upscale brand in Europe for the 12th consecutive year.

At the same time, the group is making significant progress in the broader Middle East region, including Iraq, Oman and Jordan, highlighting its ambitious plan to develop more than 90 hotels under ten different brands. It also announced its ambitious goal of reaching a total of 100 operating hotels in the Middle East by 2026.
Hotel Berlin, the first Radisson Individuals hotel in the German capital, opened its doors as the fourth largest hotel in the city with more than 700 rooms and suites. The brand also debuted in Paris and Thailand with the opening of YAC Paris Clichy, a Radisson Individuals member hotel, and Lewit Hotel Pattaya, a Radisson Individuals member hotel.
In India, the group opened two new Radisson Individuals properties: Uday Palace Navsari, a Radisson Individuals member in Navsari, and Palchan Hotel & Spa, a Radisson Individual Retreats member in Manali.
In 2023, the Radisson Collection brand continued to grow, announcing several market debuts with key signings and openings in India, Nigeria, Egypt and Lithuania. The year also brought the long-awaited opening of Radisson Collection Hotel, Santa Sofia Milan, the second iconic hotel in the design and fashion capital and the fifth in Italy.
In November, the group opened its flagship Radisson Blu hotel, Radisson Blu at Porsche Design Tower Stuttgart, and signed an agreement to open a new Radisson Blu hotel within the Triangle project in Paris.
In 2023, Radisson added nearly 40 properties to its portfolio through the opening and signing of agreements. In Switzerland, the group opened the largest hotel in Zurich.
In the UK, new properties were opened, and the brand debuted in new destinations such as the tropical island of Reunion, the Pearl of the Danube in Budapest, and the City of Winds in Baku.
In India, the group further strengthened its presence with the opening of Radisson Hotel Sonamarg, its seventh hotel in the Kashmir region.
The bright and bold Radisson RED brand was introduced in Serbia with the opening of Radisson RED Belgrade. The Radisson RED brand also made its debut in Helsinki, the green capital of the world's happiest country, with the opening of Radisson RED Helsinki, as well as in Georgia with the opening of Radisson RED Tbilisi and a signing in Thailand, where it introduced its bold, social and hyper-connected hospitality to the popular city of Phuket.
Resorts continued to become increasingly important to the group's business, owners and guests. New agreements were signed with Radisson Blu Resort, Mani in Greece, Radisson Blu Resort, Kumbhalgarh in India and Fridays Boracay, A Radisson Collection Resort in the Philippines, as well as agreements with Fiji, Turkey and Poland, where new resorts were opened.
Radisson Hotel Group has also received several prestigious awards, including being recognized as the third best employer in the world in the travel and leisure industry by Forbes magazine. The group also received the Sustainable Business Award from the Global Travel Hall of Fame, confirming the company's commitment to responsible travel and tourism. The group was also recognized with the A World for Travel with Environmental Impact Award for its role in developing the framework for sustainable hotel development.
