Rotana plans to expand into five new countries by 2026
At the Arabian Travel Market, Rotana announced its strategic plan for opening hotels in new regions, which marks a significant step in their development and expansion of the hotel network worldwide.
In 2024, the Rotana brand successfully launched three new hotels: Dar Rayhaan by Rotana in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, Riviera Rayhaan by Rotana in Doha, Qatar, and Bomonti Arjaan by Rotana in Istanbul, Turkey. Philip Barnes, Rotana's CEO, noted that the strategic goal is to expand the brand's global presence, not just to attract new clients.
Rotana plans to open its first hotels in the United Kingdom - Centro New Malden and Centro Kingston. These properties, scheduled for this year, are part of a wide-ranging development agreement in the Greater London region.
In Georgia, the opening of the Pontus Rotana Resort & Spa in Gonio is also anticipated. Travelers will have the opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Black Sea and explore the region's cultural and historical heritage.
On the Middle East front, Rotana aims to double the number of hotel rooms in Saudi Arabia to over 4,400 keys within the next four years, fulfilling its mission to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for travelers in the region.
Rotana also plans to open the Azure Rotana Thalasso & Resort in Algeria and the Arjaan Hotel Apartments in Senegal. These plans are part of the brand's overall strategic plan aimed at expanding its global presence and ensuring excellent guest service.
